Good gracious. I am so happy that this LONG weekend is over.

Friday - I don't even remember the daytime. That night I had my Fall Choir Concert at MJC; lost my phone the day before.

Saturday - ALL day 24 Hour Playfest! Well, for us actors it was 8am till 10:30pm-ish. The performance went almost perfectly The basis of the playfest is: a group of writers draw a subject out of a hat and then have the entire night (8pm-8am) to each write a 10 min. play based on that subject. Then the next morning, the writers bring their plays and meet up with the directors and actors. The directors then draw out of a hat the play they will be directing, and who the actor/actresses will be from a different hat. The directors and their casts then have from about 9am-5pm to memorize lines and blocking before a SMALL run-through of all the plays at the venue with full costumes & props. Then, it's curtains up! Quite a crash course in acting, but VERY fun and exciting. I plan to definitely act again in the next one.

Sunday (today) - Up early for 9am Sunday Latin mass (my voice is SO tired) and afterward had breakfast with the grandparents (mom's parents). Today I actually worked up the courage to finally come out to them.

They are the LAST of my family members to know I am gay because I valued their opinion a LOT. I can not even begin to tell you how relieved/happy/grateful/blessed I am to have come out to my ENTIRE family and have not ONE person reject me. I am one of the lucky ones. I am TRULY blessed and I can only pray that the world gets better and people realize that God stands for LOVE, no matter what.



And now, off the Gay soapbox, and onto cosplay business! As usual, check the list! I do manage to update it faithfully ^__^
For me, November is a bit more of my Live Action Movie L and then I FINALLY GET TO DEBUT MY CUSTOM HAKU COSPLAY! I have been dying to do this since I can remember! I miss cosplaying Haku (my absolute FAVORITE Naruto character EVER) so much and I put effort into getting this costume together! THIS. IS. THE. MONTH. OF. HAKU! And maybe a Hibari test I will now announce that I am finally on chapter 50-something of Reborn and am in the mood to cosplay Hibari a little. I would do Yamamoto, but I don't have the $$$ for the wig just yet. As far as cons go, nothing for the rest of the year. 2010, I PLAN to attend both SacAnime Winter in January and Fanime in May and have already completed pre-reg for both If I add any other cons, I'll add them to the list, but for now, that's all I got! NOW SLEEP!
